Last updated: 16 February 2026

Welcome to G-Screen. By accessing or using this website and eye health check tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use G-Screen.

1. About G-Screen

G-Screen is a free online eye health awareness tool developed in Australia. It includes three components:

G-Screen presents your test data and survey responses with educational context to encourage regular eye examinations.

2. Not Medical Advice

G-Screen is an educational awareness tool only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The results presented by G-Screen are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified eye care professional.

Important: G-Screen does not diagnose or screen for any condition and can miss eye disease. Only a qualified eye care professional can diagnose glaucoma or other eye conditions through a comprehensive eye examination.

You should not rely on G-Screen results to make decisions about your health. Always consult an optometrist, ophthalmologist, or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or experienced on G-Screen.

3. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Use of G-Screen does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or other healthcare provider relationship between you and the developers of G-Screen, its sponsors, or any associated parties.

G-Screen is provided free of charge. Any fees, charges, or costs associated with consultations, examinations, or treatments by external eye care professionals are entirely between you and that provider. G-Screen does not endorse, guarantee, or assume any responsibility for third-party services, including their availability, quality, or fees.

4. Accuracy and Limitations

G-Screen uses Melbourne Rapid Fields (MRF), a clinically validated and TGA-registered perimetry platform. However, no tool is 100% accurate. G-Screen can miss eye disease. Results may vary based on:

G-Screen does not assign risk levels, categories, or diagnoses. Results are presented for discussion with your eye care professional. Only a comprehensive eye examination by a qualified professional can diagnose eye conditions.

5. Eligibility and Device Requirements

G-Screen is intended for use by adults. The eye health check requires:

7. Email and SMS Communications

If you choose to send your results to yourself, you may select email delivery (or SMS when available):

By choosing to send, you consent to receiving the relevant message. Your email address or phone number is passed to a third-party delivery service solely for message delivery and is not stored on our servers. G-Screen does not collect contact details of any third parties.

8. Results Links and Expiry

For your privacy, results links expire 30 days after your eye health check. After expiry, the link will no longer display your individual results. A countdown showing the remaining days is displayed on your results page.

You are responsible for saving or printing your results before the link expires if you wish to retain them. G-Screen is not responsible for any loss of access to results after the expiry period.

De-identified aggregate data may be retained beyond the 30-day period for service improvement and research purposes. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked to you.
